Queensland experiences many storms every year, with some reaching the level of tropical cyclones. These storms can cause significant damage to the electrical grid, making backup energy storage essential.

The installation is a zero-export, self-consumption, grid-tied system. Continuous power is required 24/7 to operate the water pumps and other essential services, such as the refrigerator and freezer. The installed system includes an 11.88 kW solar array, a Noark 8K Hybrid Inverter, and four AES RACKMOUNT batteries that can store up to 20.48 kWh of energy housed in the durable AES RACKMOUNT Slimline Enclosure. This system meets most of the home’s electrical needs, covering typical home appliances and multiple water pumps.
